An intriguing twist of fate led her to meet her husband, Zach, on The Raptor dive boat when she was a divemaster intern, and he was working as a deckhand at Ventura Dive and Sport. In addition to her role in the scuba world, Kait is a multitasking powerhouse with hobbies ranging from martial arts to homeschooling, cooking, and serving her community as a mindfulness counselor with a background in mental health.

Kait's global diving experiences span countries like Costa Rica and Saint Lucia, with notable encounters like wreck diving in San Diego and a heroic save of her instructor's drifting tank. Committed to environmental preservation, Kait actively engages in initiatives like environmental youth education, dedicating herself to educating the younger generation about the importance of keeping our oceans clean.
