Dry Suits

Dry suits can provide more insulation than a wetsuit, since it keeps you dry. Dry suits have latex or neoprene seals at the neck and wrists and attached boots. They provide more thermal protection than any other dive suit. They allow the diver to stay comfortable underwater for a much longer period of time at temperatures lower than 65 degrees Fahrenheit , and fit much more loosely than a wetsuit. Dry suit diving isn't necessarily more difficult, but it does require special training, since it is another air space that you must control.

At Ventura Dive & Sport we offer a full line of dry suits to choose from, and offer Dry Suit Specialty Training.
